One of the best way to do this is through a permanent endowment. An endowment is a fund set aside and invested, to perpetually generate funds for the purpose of your choice. The capital of an endowment is always left intact, and only the earnings are spent to support research, an equipment fund or another recurring endeavour.
The minimum amount required to establish an endowment at Health Sciences North Foundation is $10,000, and $25,000 for a named fund. However, a gift of any amount can be directed to an existing endowment fund.
