A tradition of hope. A community united. A future made possible.

For 28 years, the Luncheon of Hope has raised over 1.3 million dollars and brought our community together around one powerful purpose: ensuring that no one faces cancer alone.
September 22, 2026, we invite you to once again gather in solidarity, compassion, and generosity as we celebrate hope, not just as a feeling, but as action. This meaningful event honours the courage of patients, the strength of families, and the dedication of the healthcare professionals who walk beside them every day.

An Inspiring Voice for 2026: Andrew Haley

We are proud to welcome Andrew Haley, Paralympic gold medalist, as our featured speaker for the 28th Annual Luncheon of Hope.

Andrew’s journey to the top of the podium is a powerful story of resilience, determination, and unwavering belief in what is possible, even in the face of adversity. Through his incredible experiences, he will share a message that mirrors the very heart of this event: that perseverance can carry us through the hardest moments, and hope can propel us forward. Andrew has faced many setbacks in his life, including losing part of his right leg as a child to cancer and being given only a 35% chance to survive. Despite these challenges, he was determined not just to survive but to show people that he could be something special. As a competitive swimmer, Andrew became a World and Paralympic champion, which eventually led to a hall of fame career.

His story serves as a reminder that strength is not only found in victory, but in the courage to keep going, a message that deeply resonates with every individual touched by cancer.

“Andrew Haley spoke with passion and enthusiasm about his childhood, battles with cancer, triumphs in the pool, and how he gives 110% living his life based not around the circumstances presented, but how he can react to them. he established a rapport with audience members young and old through his candid demeanour. Some were inspired by his athletic accomplishments, others by his drive and dedication. All agreed that he had an exceptional story to tell, and were thankful he shared it with us.”
