Thank You, Ten Rainbows Children’s Foundation!

Thanks to a generous $5,000 gift from Ten Rainbows Children’s Foundation, the treasure boxes in the Pediatric Ambulatory Care Unit (ACU) and Pediatric Oncology at Health Sciences North will be replenished with toys and prizes that bring comfort, encouragement, and smiles to young patients.

“Our kiddos look forward to finishing their appointment so they can receive a fish key to the treasure box and pick a toy they love. It’s like a light at the end of the tunnel for them,” says Emma Peever, Medical Secretary with NEO Kids, Pediatric ACU. “By ending their appointment with a small reward, it turns what can feel overwhelming into a more positive, reassuring experience that helps them feel supported and even excited to come back next time.”
